Consultants

          As a Plan Consultant you will act as a Technical resource for Plan Sponsors, Staff, Advisors and Auditors and also assist the President in supporting new business development. You will lead the firm in obtaining goals and assist in the implementation of procedures and processes. You will focus on the documentation, regulatory compliance testing, correction, contribution calculation and annual filing preparation of increasingly complex qualified Defined Contribution Plans. You will be responsible for managing the entire plan-level process to ensure that plan design and operation meets regulatory compliance standards/deadlines. You will maintain proficiency in IRS/DOL/ERISA Laws and Regulations in order to effectively communicate Technical Subject Matter.

 

Requirements:

·         Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree, working towards or passed at least one ASPPA credentials exam, minimum 7 to 10 years defined contribution experience, including some supervisory or management experience. ASPPA credentials not mandatory but would be a plus.

·         Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL regulations as applicable to qualified plans.

·         Research and team training skills.

·         Experience with takeover documents and work performed by prior TPA.

·         Ability to perform all compliance testing and self-employment calculations.

·         Ability to identify and understand controlled group/affiliated service group matters.

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.

·         Attention to detail, time management, organization and prioritization skills.

·         Experience with Relius software a plus.


Administrators

         As a Plan Administrator you will focus on the documentation, regulatory compliance testing, correction, contribution calculation and annual filing preparation of basic to moderate Defined Contribution Plans. You will be responsible for managing the entire plan-level process to ensure that the plan design and operation meets regulatory compliance standards/deadlines. You will maintain a working knowledge in IRS/DOL/ERISA Laws and Regulations in order to effectively communicate plan parameters to your assigned caseload.

  

Requirements:

·         Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, experience and certifications.

·         Working towards or successfully completed all six ASPPA RPF modules/exams.

·         Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL regulations as applicable to qualified plans.

·         Willingness to learn and grow.

·         Ability to perform all compliance testing and self-employment calculations.

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.

·         Attention to detail, time management, organization and prioritization skills.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Experience with Relius software a plus. 


Distributions

As a Distribution and Loan Processor you will act as the Primary contact for all distribution and loan related inquiries from Plan Sponsors, Advisors, Vendor representatives, and Participants. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring distribution and loan packages are processed accurately and promptly.

 

Requirements

·         College degree preferred. High School Diploma required.

·         Ability to read, analyze, and understand general Plan materials, technical procedures, and retirement plan regulations.

·         Strong verbal communication skills.

·         Team player, task driven and detail oriented with strong data-entry skills.

·         Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Willingness to learn and grow.

·         Working towards or successfully completed specific ASPPA RPF modules/exams.


Client Service

         As a Client Services Coordinator you will act as primary contact for all Plan Sponsors, Advisors and Plan Participants. You will be responsible for advising on day-to-day routine processing of plan administration support items. You will oversee and manage the Plan Implementation process. You will prepare Plan Document related changes needed, publish and e-file Form 5500’s, administer Non-technical 3(16) administrative functions including assistance with Notice fulfillment requirements, and prepare/obtain year-end census data and trust data items needed for the annual administration process.
